The Natural History Museum, London. A Place of Wonder.

I'm a bit of a photography nerd, and taking pictures in the Natural History Museum was such a lot of fun! I was pleasantly surprised how lovely these came out, the colours of them- especially as they are film- are very nostalgic to me of my trips here with my grandparents years and years ago.

The Wise Old Owl

I Like To Ride My Bicycle.

The first of what I hope will be a series of drawings of people on their bikes. The Two Tunnels cycle path recently opened up in Bath and everyone is in a bike frenzy!
This drawing is of my dad and his sudden passion for cycling and detest for driving. Pen and ink.

I saw a Peacock, with a fiery tail.

These are some personal illustrations drawn with pen and ink, then coloured in Photoshop. Peacocks are such bizarre but wonderful creatures!

One Giant Leap for Man Kind.

Mixed media book cover concept design. Graphite, acrylic and photoshop.

One Small Step For Man.

Digital drawing, based on the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 to the Moon.

“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.”

Butterflies symbolise both life and death. Hope and fragility.

Hello to you!

Let's start from the beginning. This year I started on an Art Foundation Diploma in Bath.
Vintage book with cut away pages to reveal a hole filled with paper butterflies cut out from vintage animal encyclopaedias. From initial project titled 'Carcass'.
